Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

• Designs, implements and tests complex software applications

• Responsible for mid-level designs and contributes to high-level designs

• Leads and participates in Design Reviews

• Provides effective communication with geographically distributed team members

• Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test execution, and certification of software

• Can provide peer advisement to other Senior Software, Software and Associate Software Engineers, through code/design reviews and peer-programming efforts

• Interacts with Business Analyst to ensure that specifications are satisfied

• Communicates design, reliability and maintenance problems to appropriate internal resources

• A Senior Software Engineer may function in a Support Role with the following added responsibilities:

• Responsible for debugging, troubleshooting and developing technical solutions in the form of software patches related to software and setup errors

• Creates workaround solutions when product procedures have failed and ensures issues are resolved in a timely fashion

• Escalates urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal resources

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new functionality on Java. Frontend/Full-stack development is a plus

• Work with the business on quant, functional non-functional requirements, coordinate BAs work, plan and estimate delivery timelines.

• Be ready to learn and dig into details of FX business to grow as subject matter expert

• Design and implement subsystems and intersystem protocols, drive longer-term platform architectural vision.

You will work alongside software and production engineers to build and ship new features that will drive the growth of the company. What you will do:

• Work closely with our product and design teams to develop the future of the company.

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Swift, Swift UI & JS/React Native code.

• Contribute industry best practices and technology to the development and maintenance of our applications.

• Establish and document best practices and coding standards.

• Conduct code reviews, develop high-quality documentation, and build robust test suites.

• Own the overall performance and codebase of our Auctions products.

• Be empowered to lead and complete software projects with minimal guidance from managers.

• Respond to and troubleshoot highly complex problems quickly, efficiently, and effectively.

• Work closely with our PM, UX, and QA teams to deliver high-quality and impactful features.

• Be on call for production issues.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop design models for both Android and iOS & Find and implement new technologies

• Hands-on experience in both Android and iOS apps development using React native programming language

• Architect, build, maintain, and improve new and existing suites of methods and their underlying systems

• Implement end-to-end solutions for batch and real-time user transactions along with requisite tooling around monitoring, logging, automated testing, performance testing, and A/B testing

• Utilize your entrepreneurial spirit to identify new opportunities to optimize business processes and improve consumer experiences, and prototype solutions to demonstrate value with a crawl, walk, run mindset

• Work closely with other mobile app coders and analysts to create and deploy new product features

• Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for app behaviour analyses, app development, validation and implementation

• Write efficient and well-organized software to ship products in an iterative, continual-release environment

• Knowledge sharing with the team to adopt best practices

• Code review and quality assurance are a must to do parallel activities
